The technology isnt strong enough to move a car with power, from what we have seen it just isnt good enough yet, compared to other technology like the tesla coil and hydrogen fule cells. Hydrogen is where its at, go the fuel cell.

It might not be good enough to run a car but it can be used in alot of other very useful ways. The sun is a great, easy natural resource, we may as well use it. solar panel technology has gotten alot better in recent years.
